The Buena Park Library is now loaning Mobile Wi-fi hotspots.
Hotspots are free to borrow, easy to use, and allow you to connect your laptop, tablet, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices to the Internet.

Who can borrow a hotspot?
The borrower must be an adult with a library card in good standing. The borrower must sign a lending agreement at each checkout. By signing the agreement, the borrower agrees to be solely responsible for the hotspot and all accessories during the lending period.
How long may I keep a hotspot?
The loan period is three weeks.
May I renew a hotspot?
A hotspot may be renewed up to ten times, if there are no holds.
How many hotspots may I borrow at one time?
Only one hotspot may be borrowed per card at a time.
How do I check out a hotspot?
Two ways to reserve a hotspot:
- Call the library at (714) 826-4100 and ask to reserve a hotspot
- Using your library card number, place a hold through our online catalog.
How do I return a hotspot?
Please return hotspots to a staff member during service hours. Placing hotspots in the book drop may damage them.
What happens if I do not return my hotspot by the due date?
Hotspots that are not returned by the due date will be deactivated. Please call the library at (714) 826-4100 to renew your hotspot.
What happens if I lose or damage a hotspot?
The borrower is responsible for costs associated with damage or loss of a hotspot and/or peripherals due to neglect or abuse.

- Case - $12.00
- USB cord – $1.00
- AC adapter - $1.00
- Wrist strap -$1.00
Total: $65.00 (if all items are lost there will be a $5.00 processing fee added)
